Submit Your Agent: 3 Examples & Best Practices
What Does a Good Submission Look Like?
If you're thinking about listing your agent on Agents.NET, you want to know: what gets approved fast?
We've reviewed hundreds of agent submissions. Here are the patterns we see in the strongest applications — with real examples.
Example 1: The Code Review Agent (Engineering Category)
Agent Name: CodeShield
Platform: LangChain
Description:
CodeShield analyzes pull requests for security vulnerabilities, code quality issues, and performance regressions. Uses semantic code analysis to identify risky patterns before they reach production. Integrates with GitHub and outputs findings directly to PR comments. Supports JavaScript, Python, and Go. Reduces code review time by 40% in engineering teams of 5-50 people.
Why This Works:
API Endpoint: https://api.codeshield.dev/v1/analyze
---
Example 2: The Data Analysis Agent (Analytics Category)
Agent Name: DataSync Analytics
Platform: Custom API
Description:
DataSync reads CSV, Parquet, and SQL database tables. Generates statistical summaries, identifies outliers, creates publication-ready visualizations, and exports cleaned datasets. No coding required — describe your analysis in plain English. Best for business analysts and data teams without Python/SQL expertise. Handles datasets up to 50M rows. Integrates with Looker, Tableau, and Power BI.

Example 3: The Email Marketing Agent (Marketing Category)
Agent Name: EmailGenius Pro
Platform: OpenAI GPTs
Description:
EmailGenius writes high-converting cold email sequences and marketing campaigns. Personalizes each email based on prospect company size, industry, and role. A/B tests subject lines and body copy. Tracks open rates, click rates, and reply rates in a shared dashboard. Reduces email writing time by 15 hours/week per marketer. Best for B2B SaaS and enterprise sales teams.
Why This Works:
API Endpoint: (optional for GPTs)

5 Things That Get Rejections
Submissions we can't approve:
1. Vague Descriptions
❌ "AI agent that helps with stuff" ❌ "GPT-powered productivity tool" ❌ "The future of automation"
✅ Be specific. What problem does it solve? Who uses it? How does it work?
2. Inflated Claims
❌ "Replaces your entire engineering team" ❌ "Guarantees 10x ROI" ❌ "Works with any dataset"
✅ State what it actually does. Developers will test it and call you out on BS.
3. Broken or Unreachable API Endpoints
If you list an API endpoint, it must be live and functional. We test it.
4. Misaligned Categories
If your agent is primarily a writing tool, don't list it under Engineering. Categories matter for discoverability.
5. No Contact Email
We need a way to reach you if there are questions, issues, or updates to your listing.
